There space 40 compact cars, 4 the 10 each.there space 30 mid-size, 3 that 10 each.and there are 20 trucks, however, in the graph, they all seem to have the same start allude and finish point, and the mid-size are elongated an ext than the compacts, and also the trucks room much bigger than the others over it, nearly suggesting the amounts for all space equal somehow for that period.the quantities must correlate horizontally as they"re laid, for this reason the compacts should be much longer than the rest, the mid-size behind it and also the van half-way of the compacts.

If you don"t check out the legend, you might think the a truck way more 보다 a compact which, in truth is false. 2 van = 20 vehicles, simply as 4 compacts = 40 vehicles. Each icon = 10 vehicles no issue what castle represent.

The mean of a probability distribution can be defined as the number m together that upper P (Upper X much less than or equals m )equals
Alexxandr <17>

naipublishers.com:

tex>M=\beta ln(2)

Step-by-step explanation:

Previous concepts

The exponential distribution is "the probability distribution of the time between events in a Poisson procedure (a procedure in which occasions occur continuously and also independently at a continuous average rate).

Solution to the problem

For this situation we have the right to use the adhering to Theorem:

"If X is a continuos random variable the the exponential distribution with parameter

*
for some
*
0" alt="\beta \in R >0" align="absmiddle" class="latex-formula">"

Then the median of X is

*

Proof

Let M the typical for the random variable X.

From the definition for the exponential distribution we know the denisty duty of X is given by:

*

Since we need the average we can put this equation:

*

If we evaluate the integral we acquired this:

*
\Big|_0^M" alt="\frac1\beta \int_0^M e^- \fracx\betadx =\frac1\beta <-\beta e^-\fracx\beta> \Big|_0^M" align="absmiddle" class="latex-formula">

And that"s equal to:

*

And if we settle for M we got:

*

*

If we apply natural log in on both sides we got:

*

And then
