if forced at gunpoint to placed it in a 'conventional' category, I'd speak to it difficult bop, specifically the horn 'solo'. Here's a live take of Lee Morgan's Speedball; no the same mood, yet to my ear resembles HH's pacing somewhat.

If no gun's aimed mine way, I'd label it something favor 'showtunes jazz' - no 'really' jazz, yet a nice composition devised come sound like jazz in the attention of propelling a musical's storyline.
