Not a bad seat in the house. Close to scores of restaurants and bars downtown (or "uptown" in Charlotte parlance), so you can eat and drink elsewhere and then go to the game. Otherwise, typical stadium menu and prices. This is right next to light rail station.
Love going to the Spectrum Center for concerts and sporting events. Regularly see the Hornets here and always a good time. Great bars, clean bathrooms, easy to navigate.
Great gig, the sound inside the arena was amazing. Beers were crazy over priced so drink well before you head over...$14 for a Bud Lite is a bit crazy but they did have local craft beers at other stalls for a mere $11. Pretty easy access in and out, stay at the Hyatt House Charlotte, it"s basically joined on to the Center and is very reasonably priced.
We traveled by LYNX for a Hornets game. Being new in town we weren"t quite sure where anything was, but the LYNX experience was great - right to the front door. I was blown away by the prices for food and drinks - what a rip off, so eat and drink before you get there.

This place is nothing amazing, it is truly just an average basketball arena. While I"ve never been here for a concert, for the game it is just a pretty typical facility. Also the food prices are sky high, so be prepared.
